What Is Acupuncture ?
Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic practice with a history of more than 2,000 years. It involves the insertion of very fine sterile needles, typically 0.1–0.3 millimeters in diameter, into specific acupuncture points along the body’s meridian pathways.
Acupuncture aims to promote the flow of Qi, helping restore the body’s natural balance and support the normal functioning of internal organs and systems. While many people may wonder whether acupuncture is painful, only a mild sensation is typically experienced during treatment.
